The basic equipment of a trekking bike naturally includes a good derailleur gear system, in our case with the AVALON the 24-speed Shimano ALTUS RD-M310 SGS. The powerful lighting system from Herrmans at the front and Axa at the rear, powered by the Shimano Nexus hub dynamo, ensure that you can see and be seen.
Rain and dirt? No problem! The mudguards, which are coloured the same as the frame, are there for that. For optimum safety, you also have the powerful Shimano M2 CLARKS hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm /160mm Brake disc. For frequent riders, disc brakes are the right choice, as the rim flanks are not clogged by braking.
The Continental Speed Ride tires ensure that you have good contact with the ground and, above all, for a particularly long time. These tires are characterized by very good puncture and abrasion protection, but not in favor of smooth rolling.
With the AVALON you get a modern trekking bike, which with its features would be described as a fast and safe all-rounder.
This bike is delivered 92% assembled. Only the handlebars, front wheel and pedals need to be fixed. The final assembly ready for riding must be carried out by a qualified person.
